Relive the Moment
An 80s New Wave experience - built for the people who lived it, loved it, and never stopped feeling it.
Before Spotify, back when you waited by the radio with your finger on record, just to catch your song. When you dressed up just to go out. When you couldn’t wait for Sunday night’s Countdown. When you fell in love with a new song every week.
That’s the world The Reflection brings back.
From the shimmer of Simple Minds and Icehouse, to the pulse of INXS, the drama of Duran Duran, the emotion of Tears for Fears, the cool of The Police, the magic of Split Enz, the darkness of The Cure and the nostalgia of A Flock of Seagulls - every song lands like a memory you forgot you still had.
You won’t just hear the music.
You’ll remember who you were when it first mattered.

Behind the Sound
The Reflection isn’t just a setlist - it’s a shared memory.
Each member of the band grew up with this music. Waiting for it on the radio. Watching it on Countdown. Feeling it shape who they were.
Now they bring that energy back to life - not as imitation, but as tribute. Not as nostalgia alone, but as something that still matters.
Jason
Lead Vocals
There was something about 80’s New Wave - the drama, the romance, the sense that every song meant something.
Jason found himself in that music early on. The urgency of the vocals, the emotion in the melodies, the way a chorus could feel like a declaration.
As lead vocalist, he carries that same intensity to the stage - not chasing nostalgia, but reigniting it.
Richard
Lead Guitar
Some people enjoy the 80’s. Richard never left it.
As co-founder of The Reflection, Richard lives and breathes New Wave - not as nostalgia, but as identity. The tone, the textures, the attitude - it’s part of who he is.
He meticulously selects the material we perform, ensuring every song reflects the spirit of the era. Every detail matters. Every riff earns its place.
Richard is the driving force behind The Reflection - shaping the sound, honouring the originals, and making sure the music isn’t just played… it’s respected.

Glenn
Synth & Guitar
If the 80’s had a signature sound, it was the synth.
Glenn brings that sound to life - the shimmering pads, the driving arpeggios, the hooks that define an era. In New Wave, the synth isn’t background… it’s the mood, the atmosphere, the emotional lift.
Switching seamlessly between keys and guitar, Glenn layers the textures that give The Reflection its depth and character. From cinematic swells to sharp rhythmic stabs, his playing recreates the sonic landscape that made the 80’s unforgettable.
When the lights glow and the opening chords wash over the room, that’s Glenn - setting the tone and pulling everyone back into the moment.
Mark
Drums
Every great New Wave anthem is built on a heartbeat.
Mark is ours.
Behind the kit, he does more than keep time - he drives the energy that lifts every chorus and powers every groove. From tight, punchy rhythms to the dramatic builds that defined the 80’s, Mark gives The Reflection its momentum.
But his impact doesn’t stop at the drums.
Mark is also the technical mastermind behind our live production, shaping the sound and systems that bring each show to life. The lights, the layers, the precision - it all starts with him.
On stage and behind the scenes, Mark is the engine that keeps The Reflection moving forward.
Ian
Bass Guitar
Some bands have a rhythm section.
The Reflection has Ian.
As co-founder alongside Richard, Ian has been part of this journey from the very beginning. Growing up together, their shared connection to 80’s New Wave isn’t just musical - it’s personal.
Ian is the heart of our rhythm section, locking in the pulse that drives every anthem forward. From the brooding undercurrent of post-punk to the danceable groove of synth-pop, his bass lines anchor the sound and give it weight.
Together, Ian and Richard represent everything The Reflection stands for - authenticity, respect for the era, and a deep love for the music that shaped them.
